Design

Design process starts with a 1-hour on-site consultation, a few rough drafts, a few final touches and you will be ready for your new home improvement project, be able to get HOA approval, or apply for XIP (Fort Collins), Life After Lawn (Greeley).

Build

The building process starts with 1-hr on site consultation with our subcontracted installation team or a company you choose to work with. 2020-2023 season we were very happy to work with Tristar Landscaping out of Loveland, Co and will be working with them in the 2024 season.

Manage

Managing properties is one of my favorite jobs. I love getting to know my clients and build a friendship though their yard. When managing large properties for clients we come up with a priority list and talk often about what each visit needs to look like.

Maintain

When maintaining a property these are some of the most common jobs:

Deadheading perennials
Selective weeding
Refreshing Mulch
Replacing plants

Annual plantings
Small projects
Mowing, Trimming, and Edging
Hydroseeding

Who is Straightforward Landscaping?

As owner of Straightforward Landscaping my goal is to provide landscaping from start to finish and everything in-between! Some people do not need an intricate design, they just need help on where to start, a few names of plants and to get HOA approved. Others have big plans, and I am here to help make the yard of their dreams come true.

I am passionate about horticulture (the art or practice of garden cultivation and management) for as long as I can remember. I studied though high school and college and even traveled to New Zealand and Australia to study Permaculture (the development of agricultural ecosystems intended to be sustainable and self-sufficient) which I am also passion it about and enjoy using these technique in my own personal garden.

At 21, I started doing my other passion: cooking. I landed a job with UCHealth as a cook for 11 years. As my family grew, I knew I needed to find a job where I could work from home if needed. I thought about what I have always loved to do and what I always go back to: landscape design and gardening. I love helping people through plants! So right then and there, I started my official business and have never looked back. Today I have the pleasure of doing what I love for a career.
